1. I got my sex drive back.
I would like to get off of it again now. Antidepressants are not addictive or habit-forming. I was on a high dosage for anxiety and also fibromyalgia relief studies show link between chronic pain and low serotonin levels.
So in my internet searches for something to improve my sleep, I came across info about inositol. Not sure why turmeric an anti-inflammatory herb would help but certainly a low dose of St. The slower you taper off. If symptoms are severe, you might need to go back to a previous dose and reduce the levels more slowly.
I have had many negative comments about quitting so quickly but I do not want to be owned by these drugs anymore. My fiancee is on mg, has been for almost 3 years.
Factors that may influence Zoloft withdrawal:
A final note before I'm done with my overly long post, which I apologize for. I try not to focus on how crap it is, and just ride it out. I went back on a lower dose I think it has helped but I find myself very emotional and crying a lot. This has been awful.
Some research suggests that when people stop antidepressants, they might face an increased risk of suicidal thoughtsalthough there's been no link to actually acting on those ideas, he says. Your post was very helpful Keith.
I was on a 50mg daily dose so, as advised by my doctor, I began taking one tablet every other day 1 day on, 1 day off.
Therefore, staying on it outweighs being off it. I would really like to know how you are living proof of a full recovery. Then 25mg for weeks.
Was it for a few months just to get over a depressive bout? There is no denying how terribly awful withdrawal can be. Depression was not my normal state prior to the trauma era…so the rebound depression was a result of the drug, I am certain.
So glad to find this thread… 15 years of mg of Zoloft. I was on Zoloft for 10 yrs, with some fluctuation in dosage once in a while. I could not walk across a room without holding on to a piece of furniture for stability.
The sweating, nausea and not being able to concentrate is unbearable! I had lost some of my sex drive and my energy.
